Public Relations, Regional Sleep Disorders Clinic

Assignment
This client wanted to go head-to-head with the much better known university sleep disorders clinic. We were asked to help devise a strategy that would heighten visibility for the clinic's physicians. After conducting interviews, we identified a physician we believed would be the best spokesperson, and provided basic training on presentation and dealing with the media. We then launched a publicity and speakers bureau campaign to secure feature articles and bookings for the physician.

Result
Within a six-month period, we booked the physician on three of the area's top radio stations, as well as on two local cable station talk shows featuring health issues. Feature stories ran in targeted publications, such as Modern Maturity, Fitness, and Men's Health, as well as a by-lined article in an in-flight magazine.
