Promotion, Upscale Resort
For years, this Northern California resort had faced low occupancy during the Fall and Winter holiday season. With a new chef on board, the Director of Marketing asked Traversant to create a cost-effective direct mail campaign that would promote the resort by featuring its Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Eve events. Working with their in-house marketing department, we helped segment their database for the mailings. We then developed an elegant, 2-color modular mailing piece.
After the mailings, attendance at each event increased dramatically, with the New Year's party selling out. Resort bookings also went up from previous years, an unexpected bonus of the campaign.
